Does anyone have (or know where I can get) a body tracing of a j-45? And, do you know how similar this is to a Gibson Country Western?

What age j-45? Round-shouldered or square? I'm assuming round-shouldered (slope). Be aware that the older models from the late-50s and earlier have a larger lower bout than the later ones; about 16.25" as opposed to 16".

There are a lot of dreadnaught plans around, and the modern J-45 differs little from a D-18.
But it's hard to find a plan for the older slope-shouldered guitar! But my friend Jamie Unden has a nice website selling plans, and I helped him develop a very nice slope-shouldered plan. We used a guitar from the early 50's as a reference for the plan.- here's his website...
